Saint Anne Sodality of Saint Celestine Parish
The name of this sodality is under the patronage of St. Anne, the maternal mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  The feast of St. Anne is observed annually on July 26 by the Church. The primary purpose of this Sodality is to participate in the spiritual life of the parish.  That is, to give mutual moral support and to help the parish in its needs both spiritually and socially.  This Sodality also assists the parish leadership.
 
All registered women of the St. Celestine parish are members.  Membership is also open to any woman over the age of 13 or any former member of St. Celestine parish who continues to pay their dues of $2.00 a year.
Upon the notification of the death of an active member, the Sodality shall contribute one (1) Mass intention for the repose of the soul of the deceased.  Upon request of the family, the St. Anne’s officers will lead a rosary at the funeral home.

Doors open at 6:00pm - supper at 6:30pm

+May 17, 2009 -Graduation Breakfast for 8th grade, high school, and college graduates and
family after 8:00am Mass

+June 24, 2009 - Senior Citizen's Supper in Parish Center

*July 26, 2009 - 8:00am Mass for living and deceased members of St. Anne Sodality.
St. Anne's Sodality Breakfast & Auction immediately following Mass
 Breakfast will be provided but remember an auction item. 
All women  and girls from the parish are encouraged to attend!

*August 3, 2009 - Quilt Show from 4:00pm till 6:30pm  
St. Anne meeting and election of officers after quilt show

+October 3, 2009 -Confirmation reception after the 6:00pm Mass
                                   Cookies & punch served after Mass

+October 25, 2009- Annual Church Shoot

*December 7, 2009 - St. Anne Christmas Party

Other activities directed by St. Anne:

There are 20 quilt committees established to make 20 handmade quilts for the Annual Church Shoot.  Pat Hasenour  634-1612

MONTHLY CHAIRPERSONS FOR CHURCH CLEANING

One of the missions for the women of our parish is to keep the church clean.  We do this through monthly cleaning sessions.  Everyone is strongly encouraged to help one month out of the year. If you are able to help with this, contact the chairperson.

Monthly cleaning dates will be posted in the bulletin two weeks prior to cleaning.
