Baptism
- First child parent(s) are asked to participate in an informational session on the meaning
of this sacrament and the responsibilities of the parent(s). Contact the parish office for
the dates and times of the sessions. Please contact the parish office 812-326-2985 to
register for classes.
- Please inform the parish office of who you would like to preside at the baptism. The
pastor, the deacon or a vistiting priest/deacon.
- One of the godparents must be an active/participating Catholic.
Marriage
- Contact the parish office at least six months prior to the preferred date.
- Information needed for the office:
-Date/time – Ceremony can start no later than 1:30 p.m.
-Who will preside the pastor, deacon, visiting priest/deacon if it is a visitor he will need
to call the office to verify the date/time.
- Packet containing all information needed can be picked up at the parish office.
Anointing of the Sick
- Contact the parish office if you know of someone who would like to receive this
sacrament.
Reconciliation
- Any time by appointment - Confessions: 7:30 a.m. Fridays at St. Celestine Church
10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on the first Saturday at St. Celestine Church
7:30 a.m. Thursdays at St. Raphael Church
10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on the third Saturday at St. Raphael Church

First Holy Communion
- Is received in the second grade or may be received in the third or fourth grade if child and
parents are not ready for the sacrament.
- Formation classes will be twice a week September through April.
- First Holy Communion will be held on May 4, 2008.
Confirmation
- Formation is started in November during their freshman year and confirmation rite is
held the first Saturday in October their sophmore year. Formation may be started
any year in high school if the student is not ready their freshman year. Formation is
held outside of Wednesday religious education classes.
- Confirmation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008.
