CALENDAR 2008-2009 FAITH FORMATION


Listen to WITZ for class cancellations.  If the schools close, we will not
have religion classes.
Dubois Co. School Systems do not schedule sporting events on Wednesday
evenings because of religion classes.  We are one county of a very few in
southern Indiana that has this in place.  The school system does not have
control scheduling sectional and regional events.  If we are drawn for a
sectional or regional game on a Wednesday night, Wednesday night religion
classes will be cancelled.

August            13         Safe Environment " Keeping Our Children Safe"  
                                     6:30pm till 8:00pm
                                     Presented by Crisis Connection in the parish hall.
                                     For parents and new catechist.

August            20         Catechist Toolbox  6:30pm till 9:00pm 
                                     Holy Family Parish Hall
                                     Liturgical the Nuts and Bolts - Presented by Matt Miller

August            27         First Class
                                     Classes every Wednesday night unless listed
                                     Special events on Wednesday night also listed  

September       17       Class for grades 5th - 8th at St. Celestine
 
                                    High School classes will attend the Deanery Tailgate party 
                                    at VUJC auditorium/     Food served 6:00pm - 6:45 
                                    "The Afters" & Matt Mauer will perform 7:00 till 8:45pm
                                    Parents welcome to attend event

September       24        Reconciliation in church 7:00 till 8:30pm
                                      10th grade Confirmation  students
                                      from St. Celestine and St. Raphael
                                      Parents and sponsors are welcome to attend
